Crafting Wellness: Restorative Mandalas

Are you a first responder or a military veteran who finds restoration by spending time in the woods? Well, recent research has found that participation in nature-based activities supports physical, mental, and emotional health. Several studies have even highlighted the value of participating in nature-based activities for individuals that have experienced stress on a constant basis. This is an adult-only class please. Anyone over 18 is welcome.

During this program we will create forest mandalas (also shown to support health and wellness) while exploring nature-inspired sensory invitations. No worries, creating a forest mandala requires no arts and crafts skills or talent.

We will be at pavilion 2. This is located on Swimming Pool Road on the western side of the park.

Registration is not required, but requested so we have an idea of how many to expect! Please consider registering, and canceling if you are not able to make it. Walk-ins welcome!
