BLUEiQ is a women-owned startup headquartered in Boston, with operations in Newport, Rhode Island, and Gulfport, Mississippi. The company specializes in transforming underwater acoustics into actionable intelligence through its flagship product, the OpenEar Acoustic AI Sensor. This low-power, software-defined hydrophone utilizes edge-based machine learning to monitor and interpret undersea sounds in real time, supporting applications in defense, maritime security, offshore energy, and marine biodiversity conservation. 

Blue Tech Talks is a summer Lunch & Learn Program designed to immerse audiences in the innovative world of ocean-inspired technology. Featuring leaders of Blue Tech companies at various stages of growth, this series of tech talks promises to enlighten, educate, and inspire.

*Blue Tech Talks are held on Wednesdays throughout July and August, 2025 from 12-1 pm.
