We are holding an info evening and read through then open auditions on a separate date for our next show, a play based on the book by author Jane Austen, adapted by Andrew Davies.

Performance Dates: Wednesday 24th September to Saturday 27th September with a Preview Night on Tuesday 23rd September.
Join us for an Information Evening and Read Through on Thursday 12th June (at the Catholic Church, next to Waitrose) from 7pm whereby the directors will talk about the synopsis, rehearsal times etc and what they are looking for in the characters.
Auditions will be on Monday 16th June (at the Kings theatre) from 7pm.
Characters - Cast List
Elizabeth Bennet - our heroine, bright, very lively, with a mischievous sense of humour.
Jane - the eldest Bennet sister, beautiful, gentle, affectionate, thinks well of everyone.
Mary - third sister, bookish, not particularly bright, earnest and humourless.
Kitty - fourth sister, excitable and easily led. Under Lydia’s influence.
Lydia - youngest, high spirited, sexually precocious, thoughtless but not a bad bone in her body.
Mr Bennet - clever and dryly witty. Got Mrs Bennet pregnant and did the right thing. Has endured ever since.
Mrs Bennet - a class below Mr Bennet. Has a romantic heart and all energies focused on securing advantageous marriages for her daughters
Mr Darcy - clever, proud, reserved and enormously rich. Somewhere inside beats a loving heart
Georgiana Darcy - much loved younger sister, very much looks up to her brother.
Mr Charles Bingley - friend of Darcy, rich, warm and friendly. Sees the best in everyone.
Miss Caroline Bingley - sister of Bingley, snobbish and judgemental. Desperate for Darcy’s approval.
Mrs Louisa Hurst - sister of Bingley, Miss Bingley’s wing woman
George Wickham - personable young officer. Childhood friend of Darcy but now enemies.
Sir William Lucas - good natured, a bit pompous. Did well in trade and very proud of his knighthood.
Charlotte Lucas - his daughter, close friend of Elizabeth’s. Ruthlessly practical approach to life.
Mr Collins - dim witted clergyman who has a rather high opinion of himself. Greatly in awe of Lady Catherine, to whom he owes his living
Lady Catherine De Bourgh - wealthy aristocratic widow, aunt to Darcy. Autocratic, unpleasant and fairly stupid.
Lady Anne De Bourgh - daughter, pale and sickly, suffers various unspecified health concerns.
Denny - another officer
Mr Gardiner - Mrs Bennett’s brother
Mrs Gardiner - his wife
Mrs Reynolds - housekeeper for Darcy
Hannah/Harry - servant at Lambton Inn
