Newmarket Rail 200 Celebration - With Wickham Market OO Layout - FREE ENTRY

Hi everyone. We have some exciting news to share! Our large OO "roundy-roundy" model railway of Wickham Market (as it would have been in the 1950s) has been invited to two weekends this October/November.

The first is at Warley Model Railway Club's Exhibition at Statfold Barn Narrow Gauge Museum, near Tamworth, on the weekend of 11-12th October 2025. (NOTE: I think the layout's exhibiting team, me included, will be enjoying a few ales in The Tamworth Tap on the Saturday night! �)

Secondly, and much closer to home, we are delighted to confirm that Newmarket Town Council have invited Wickham Market to be displayed in The King Edward VII Memorial Hall in Newmarket High Street. This is part of their 'Rail 200 Celebration'. The event opens on Friday afternoon 31st October 2025 (from 2pm until 5pm) and also on Saturday 1st November 2025 (from 10am until 3pm). ENTRY TO THE PUBLIC WILL BE FREE - so don't miss this fantastic and rare opportunity to see the layout if you're in the Newmarket or surrounding area.
