Community Cleanup presented by TD

Help keep Newmarket clean and green during the 47th annual Community Cleanup presented by TD launching on Saturday, May 3, 2025!

Participants can pick up their cleanup kits from a centralized location at the Newmarket Farmers’ Market at Riverwalk Commons and help clean a public park, greenspace or trail of their choice.

Visit the Town of Newmarket booth at the Farmers’ Market between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on May 3 to collect a free cleanup kit (while supplies last; one cleanup kit per group).

Everyone is encouraged to clean up a park in your neighbourhood, but feel free to visit other parks in Town that could use an extra hand. Some of the target areas include Fairy Lake Park, George Richardson Park, Bonshaw Park, and Environmental Park.

After May 3, cleanup kits will be available for pick up at the Customer Service kiosks at Magna Centre, Ray Twinney Recreation Complex and the Municipal Offices (while quantities last) to continue the effort after the event.

Plus, high school students can earn up to 3 volunteer hours for participating!
