About the Practice
Qigong is a 4,000-year-old practice rooted in Chinese shamanic and Daoist traditions, inspired by deep observation of the natural world.
“Qi” means life force energy, and “Gong” refers to skill or cultivation—together, Qigong is “energy cultivation.”
Its flowing, rhythmic movements help regulate the breath, calm the nervous system, and bring balance to mind, body, and spirit. With consistent practice, it fosters vitality, emotional harmony, and connection to the universal energy that flows through all things.
Niki weaves in gentle Yoga postures where appropriate, blending Qigong’s softness with the supportive strength of Yoga. The result is a harmonious balance of fluidity and structure—awakening the body without force, allowing the muscles to engage, stabilize, lengthen, and relax.
Each session honors the lunar cycles of rest, renewal, growth, and release—supporting your inner rhythm and deepening your connection to the natural world.
Niki holds space with sensitivity and care, guiding from a place of presence and deep respect for the body’s intelligence. Her approach invites playful curiosity, felt-sense awareness, and a return to wholeness—beyond the busy mind and into our true nature.
Yoga Nidra
The practice closes with Yoga Nidra—an ancient, guided meditation experienced lying down in complete stillness. Using voice, sound healing instruments like singing bowls and chimes, and gentle breath awareness, Niki creates a sacred, restful space for the body to fully relax.
Yoga Nidra supports deep nervous system regulation, dissolves tension, and fosters a profound sense of peace. In this state of conscious rest, the body’s natural healing wisdom can emerge, allowing for insight, integration, and transformation.
