As climate warms, we'll need our neighbours.

Climate Ready Newcastle is calling residents of Newcastle's low-lying suburbs - Maryville, Carrington, Islington, Tighes Hill and Wickham - to join us for a chat at the pub in coming months about how we can prepare for the impacts of climate change together.

From the cost-of-living crisis to flooding and heatwaves, we know if we get ready, together, we can have each other's backs when we need it most.

Throsby Creek community PUB MEET #4

The fourth and final pub chat will take place at the Carrington Bowlo - a stellar venue which is a pillar of the local community network.

We hope you'll join us Wednesday 18th June, 6pm for an informal meet & greet at the bowlo to learn more about the Climate Ready Newcastle initiative, connect with your neighbours and kick-start the local climate resilience conversation.

Arrive 5:30pm if you want to dine and we'll commence the convo at 6pm.
