Last year, NTC held a staged reading of Michael's play to help further develop his script. After having this reading, NTC decided to produce the play as part of our "Originals" program so that our wider audience can enjoy it too. Unlike the staged reading, this version of the production will have full costumes, props, set and technical elements.

ABOUT THE SHOW:
Clay and Penny have a loving life in the Upper Hunter Valley, but their dream of having a baby remains unfulfilled. After years of heartbreak they're given one final, almost unbelievable chance through Dr. Moore, a top fertility specialist in Sydney. with the support of Clay's father and Penny's sister, they take a leap of faith, facing unexpected challenges and difficult choices. As their dream edges closer, they must ask themselves - how far is too far? In his powerful debut, local playwright Michael King weaves a heartfelt story of love, loss and the sacrifices we make for family, blending humour, heartache, and hope.
