Native Plant Hike with WA Native Plant Society

Join Mary Nakasone of the Washington Native Plants Society and Joel Gartenberg, trail runner and IATC board member, for a relaxed 4-mile hike through Cougar Mountain, featuring about 800 feet of elevation gain. We'll take our time on the trail, making plenty of stops to observe and talk about the local plant life—so it's perfect for curious hikers and nature enthusiasts alike. Expect forested paths, a waterfall, salmonberries, and plenty of opportunities to learn about native species in a beautiful Pacific Northwest setting. All experience levels welcome!
