A much-loved friend and cherished member of the Mayfield community, Adam Glenn Hardes, passed away peacefully in his home on the 11th of July at the age of 52.
Affectionately known by many as “Mayfield Jesus,” Adam was a familiar and beloved presence in the neighbourhood. He had called Mayfield home for over a decade and was well known for his gentle nature, kind spirit, and daily walks along the main street. Adam’s love for coffee often led him to visit various local cafés, where his warm smile and presence left a lasting impression on those around him.
Though he lived a somewhat transient lifestyle, Adam’s connection to the Mayfield community was deeply rooted, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him.
Please join us on the 16th of August at The Oaks, Tighes Hill, as we come together to remember Adam, raise a glass in his honour, and share stories that celebrate his life.
We will be raising funds to support individuals living with severe and persistent mental health challenges — a cause close to our hearts, with the hope of helping others like Adam.
