The Young Henrys brew crew felt the urge to ditch the big smoke. So they loaded up the van, hit the M1 and 170 clicks later (after some very questionable renditions of 60’s rock ’n’ roll - looking at you, Searlzy) they rolled into Good Folk’s Hamilton beer factory… ready to throw down malt, hops and good times for a special collab.
Introducing FREAKBEAT - a brew born from a shared love of classic IPAs. This one’s rocking a blend of English hops (Brambling Cross & Harlequin) with marmalade and dark cherry up front, pouring rich burnt orange with a hit of earth and spice.
A malt bill of Golden Promise, Double Roasted Crystal and Aromatic layers in toffee, biscuit and nutty aromas. Clean bitterness from first wort Target hops ties it all together for a smooth, medium-bodied pint that just 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴.
If those notes don’t sing for you, you might just be a bigger freak than us.
