Companion Planting Workshop - Newcastle City Library - Low Waste Living

In nature, plants are rarely found growing in monoculture and it turns out there are numerous reasons for this! Different plants can complement each other in numerous ways, from space conservation through to resource sharing and pest mitigation. Come and learn how planting with the right companions can help your garden systems thrive!

After the workshop you are invited to visit two new exhibitions at Newcastle City Library: The Hidden Beauty of Seeds and Fruit and Seed Pod on Level 2.
