Basket Weaving

Join us for the day learning the therapeutic techniques of weaving traditional vessel formations. You will learn how to start, shape, decorate and complete a basket.

You will have a choice of shaped vessels and the weaving medium you would like to use (such as raffia, paper, silk, Madagascan palm raffia and more).

Step into a slower rhythm and embrace the meditative art of basket weaving in this hands-on workshop. Set against the backdrop of cool, tranquil weather, this experience invites you to pause, breathe, and create. As your hands work with natural fibres, you'll find quiet focus, gentle connection, and a deep sense of calm.
