River Tyne Family Rides

The River Tyne Family rides moves upstream for 2025, to a more rural location, where the river transitions from city to countryside. This ride attracts cyclists of all abilities, united in the desire for a fun, well-organised and signposted ride along traffic-free routes.

There are two routes of 8 miles and 14 miles, both ideal for those who want a leisurely and fun cycling experience and perfect for occasional cyclists or those who want to ride with young families. You can choose which route to ride on the day - you entry covers you for both options.

The rides use the largely traffic-free Sustrans Routes.
