About the film: This charming but melancholic and bittersweet film follows the life of a woman called Grace who recounts her life to a snail. After a series of misfortunes, Grace, a snail-collecting misfit trying to find herself amid the clutter of everyday life, learns how to find confidence within.

About the craft-a-long
During this screening, the audience is encouraged to enjoy a fun, creative pastime such as knitting, crochet, drawing or paper based crafts while watching the film. We know that some people can find it a lot easier to watch films while doing something else at the same time. This is completely optional - you are also welcome to just sit and watch the film!
-There will be a mixture of cinema-style seating and caberet-style tables with seating.
-You can bring your own knitting, crochet or craft project if you wish.
-You can also buy a pre-made craft pack to use during the screening as part of your ticket purchase.

This event is designed to be a relaxed and inclusive experience for disabled and neurodivergent audiences, their family, friends and supporters. It is open to anyone who is accepting of audiences with a range of access requirements. Enjoy this beautiful film in a welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to see you there!
During this screening:
-The lights will stay on at a low level
-The volume will be a bit lower
-You can move around and make some noise if you need to
-There will be a chill out space if you need to take a break
-The film will have English Language Descriptive Subtitles
-No ads or trailers
-A 2 minute film about how Relaxed Screenings work will be screened just before the film,

The screening is by Daydream Cinema , an new Newcastle-based neurodivergent-led organisation supporting access to cinema for neurodivergent and disabled audiences.
