Session 0 begins in June!
The PREMISE!
IC invites will go out closer to the time, but the year is 1967 and the vampire council members of Newcastle have (almost) all died in tragic circumstances. Fortunately, one Popov Vankensnuz still lives, and has recently been given the title of 'Archcouncillor of Newcastle' as the sole survivor. So, on this evening we will be celebrating both the lives of all the deceased members of the Council, and congratulating Popov on his appointment to the lofty role of Archcouncillor. The theme is '60s MASQUERADE BALL'. Do with that whatever your vampire would do with that...
The idea is that Session 0 is a playtest, and by setting it quite a few years in the past you're welcome to continue playing your character from session 0, but the plot and themes will all be vastly different from session 0 to the first session of the actual game which will hopefully start in July barring a huge issue that means I need more time to rewrite things.
We're starting off at the Bridge Hotel in Newcastle, though it unfortunately doesn't have disability access as the function room is up the stairs I'm happy to take suggestions of what venue to use going forward if there's something more suitable.
Normal game will be £7 per event to cover room hire, insurance and props etc, but the playtest will only be £5 each as things might be a little stop-start if there are rules clarifications and such required. Can pay in advance or on the night, it's up to you.
The rules are still in playtest mode, so expect things to change!
Session 0 will be a standalone event. Please note our events are all for people aged 18+ only.
