FREE TALK: My Skin Cancer Journey with Simone Neri

"Hi I’m Simone. Ten years ago, I was diagnosed with melanoma—a serious type of skin cancer. At the time, I was a single mum with two young children, and the news was heartbreaking: I was told I might have only have five years to live.

But today, a decade later, I stand here with a new perspective on life. This journey has been filled with numerous challenges, but also with lots of hope, strength, and love. The experience has changed my work, my engagement with my family and friends, and has given me a renewed appreciation for life. I look forward to sharing more about these experiences with you in June."

Not only will this talk be informative, but it was also be real and first hand from someone who has lived through this experience - we really encourage everyone to come down to listen as well as support Simone as she tells her story.

This talk will be happening on Monday 9th June at 6:30pm here at Idos. This can also be watched on zoom as well for those unable to make it down.
