Explore the architectural legacy of Wolstanton. Discover the influence of Absalom Reade Wood, whose designs shaped the area, from historic houses to the local church. On the tour, we’ll uncover the stories behind these buildings and their lasting impact on the community. The tour begins with a steep hill but continues at a relaxed pace, offering fascinating insights into the area’s development.

Please arrive 15 mins before departure time (9.45 am). The tour route is via public footpaths and alongside local roads, with some moderate terrain. Sensible footwear is advised. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring your own refreshment if required. There is no toilet provision once you have departed from Middleport Pottery on your walk.
Due to the size of groups and locations visited, we’re unable to accommodate dogs or pushchairs on our walking tour.
