Join us for a nostalgic afternoon of music, memories and laughter tribute to the legendary George Formby—the man who turned Lancashire charm into global stardom!
Featuring Jon Baddeley (Vice President, George Formby Society)
George really was a legend in his own lifetime and although he passed away in 1961, his popularity today is as strong as ever. Indeed, the age range of the Society’s membership has been between 6 and over 90 years of age. George’s fame is worldwide. Just enter his name in Google and you will be amazed at the interest in George.
And don’t miss the chance to see rare memorabilia, including two instruments once owned by the legendary George Formby!
