Stoneware Colander Workshop

Stoneware Colander Workshop Saturday 21st June 10am-12noon £55.00 per person.

Come along and make your very own Stoneware kitchen Colander.



Using a technique known as slab building, you will roll out your clay and form a bowl shape using a ceramic hump mould. You will then form and shape your handles and foot ring.



Choosing from various sizes hole cutters, you will then create your own design for the drainage holes.

Once you have finished, your colander will be dried, bisque fired, glazed in your chosen glaze colour and then put in for it's final firing. Your finished piece will be ready to collect from the studio a few weeks later.



This is a fantastic Saturday morning workshop for anyone wanting to get creative and create a piece that can be used at home.

This workshop includes hot and cold refreshments.
