You'll be staying just 12 minutes walk above Poppit Sands, which is 3 miles from Cardigan in West Wales.
This will be our fifth 3 day Intensive Beginners Retreat in 2025. They all sold out and received great reviews in 2024.
Expect the usual fun, fast moving DIY learning experiences, with lush home-cooked food (some people come back partly for the nosh) and your own comfy double room in a colourful, arty house.
The ticket price of £380 also includes a Dolphin Boat watching experience (£60), Cliff Hotel Spa visit (£20), local live gigs, walks on the nearby cliffs, sunrise and sets at the beach and great company. What a way to learn!

The retreat will suit women of all skill levels.
We will focus each day on developing overall skills through morning and afternoon sessions, of hands on learning, with some theory.
The retreat will include the Basic Skills DIY and Home Plumbing workshops on the Saturday and the Sunday, followed by a day of practical experience, to consolidate your learning and confidence, which will include:
* Making your own Viking Bog Chair, larch planter or stool
* Making arty breadboard and useful kitchen devices
There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss jobs you want to undertake at home.
