29th Annual Newburyport Human Rights Commission Peace Prize Awards Ceremony
The 29th Annual Newburyport Human Rights Commission Peace Prize Awards Ceremony will be held Wednesday, May 14th at 6:30 pm at the Senior Community Center. We will celebrate students from Newburyport schools who have been chosen by their respective educators to receive a Peace Prize. We will also celebrate one of our fellow adult community members.
Each award winner, students and adults, embodies the mission of the Human Rights Commission to uphold the human rights of all persons in Newburyport by promoting and supporting a sense of welcome and inclusion, and by working to eliminate prejudice, intolerance, discrimination, and acts of hate in our community.
Come join us for this wonderful and uplifting event which is open to all. Families are welcome and youth are encouraged to attend and support their peers.
