2025 Newburyport Green Expo

The 2025 Greater Newburyport Green Expo is be a family-friendly event designed to educate and engage attendees on sustainability and resiliency. The event aims to bring together students, families, businesses, labor groups, government, and non-profit organizations to foster dialogue, deepen understanding, and build a shared framework for addressing climate challenges.

Our Goals:

● Increase awareness of solutions to the impacts of climate change on the quality of our lives, jobs,businesses, and the economy

● Educate our community about decisions that can be made regarding food, waste, water and energychoices that are positive for our future

● Support the City of Newburyport goals to move to Zero Waste and Net ZeroCarbon

● Develop a common language

● Bring members of the community together in a collaborative spirit

● Be conscious of social justice issues

More About the Event

Join us on the campus between Newburyport Senior Community Center & Francis T Bresnahan Elementary School for an exciting event where attendees can engage in hands-on demonstrations, including composting, native gardening, recycling techniques, and energy-saving tips, while exploring personal electric vehicles like e-bikes and cars with information on charging stations. and much more!
