Tuba Christmas

The Newberry College Music Department proudly presents the return of Newberry’s beloved Tuba Christmas, a joyful celebration of the holiday season that has become one of the state’s most cherished musical traditions. Originating from the vision of world-renowned tubist Harvey Phillips, Tuba Christmas brings together tuba and euphonium players to perform heartwarming arrangements of classic Christmas carols, filling the air with the deep, resonant sounds of brass in harmony.

Since its first performance, Tuba Christmas has grown. Audiences are invited to join in the holiday spirit as dozens of musicians unite for this uplifting performance. This FREE community event is the perfect way to share in the joy and fellowship of the season.
