Cooking Class Celebrating "Cinco De Mayo

Cinco De Mayo Cooking Class on Sunday, May 4th, 2025

It's fiesta time!

Get involved to learn to make a full gourmet taco spread at home. Join Chef Zach Goldman (of Roberta's, and Locanda Verde, NYC) to make both Carne Asada (grilled beef) and Chicken Tinga (shredded chicken in adobo sauce). We will make our own salsas too, to kick it up a notch! A great tortilla is the foundation of a great taco. For this class, we will make our own masa tortillas from scratch!

Expect both a demonstration, and plenty of hands on cooking. Of course there will be a feast after, while we sample the delicious food made... and handpicked paired wines from Natalie's Estate.

Carne Asada (seasoned grilled beef) and

Chicken Tinga (pulled chicken in a tangy tomato sauce)

with Handmade Masa Tortillas (corn)

Salsa Verde (green salsa of tomatillo, cilantro, jalapeno and lime)Salsa Roja (red salsa of tomato, chili, and onion) Cilantro, Minced Onion, and Avocado

Accompanied by Rice and Beans

Mexican Flan (caramel custard)
