What are the "Coolbough Natural Areas"?
The "Coolbough Natural Areas" are over 400 acres of forests, savannas, wetlands & streams.
Brooks Township holds title to the land, and Michigan Nature Association manages its care.
Management means restoring it as closely to its natural habitats as possible -
Removing invasive species, and allowing the native plants, insects and birds to reclaim their original home.
