Red Dead Redemption Horseback Ride and Chili Supper Aug 29th 7pm Ages 19+

Intermediate Riders and up ONLY-- Join us for a Red Dead Redemption-themed Horseback Ride on Friday August 29th at 8078 Whitfield Road, Newark, IL 60541. All riders must be age 19 and up.

You'll either be assigned to Dutch's Gang or The Pinkerton's, and you'll receive your instructions when you get to the barn.

This ride is a mix of tag and a scavenger hunt-- but all on horseback. At night. We will be using only a minimal amount of lighting to complete the adventure.

After the ride, we'll put aside our differences and enjoy chili from Sage's Meat Market of Oswego with all the fixin's-- including cornbread and hot spiced apple cider. You are welcome to bring any other food and beverages you'd like to enjoy around the bonfire. Bring a bag chair! We'll provide the s'mores.

Although we will avoid deliberately cantering, all riders should know how to walk/trot/canter in case your horse breaks into a canter. You will be responsible for steering and stopping your horse at all times. Unlike a typical trail ride, we will ride in groups and not always single-file.

This is a special adventure for Red Dead enthusiasts who are also equestrians. For safety reasons, once we are sold out we will not be adding more tickets for this ride.
