Newark Sing In!

Newark Sing In! is an informal gathering of singers from the greater Newark area, to come together, share skills, learn new ones and meet new people who are equally enthusiastic about singing. The February 22 event is also a ‘preamble’ to our upcoming program I Dream a World: Songs & Verse to Inspire a Nation featuring 5 Women Performance Ensemble, in recognition of the United States Semiquicentennial (250th Anniversary).

Newark Sing In! is open to men and women 18+ of all cultural backgrounds and various performance levels. There will be light refreshments and piano accompaniment at the beautiful Feldman Middleton Community Center in Weequahic Park, Newark, NJ. RSVP required. Free admission. Partial funding for this event is provided by the City of Newark, Creative Catalyst Fund and Blue Butterfly Arts & Media.
