More than 46 million Americans struggle with substance use, and nearly 1 in 5 live with a mental illness. These are not just statistics; they are our neighbors, our families, and our friends. For 56 years, LAPP has walked alongside individuals and families in Licking County, offering compassionate behavioral health care and working with community partners to break down barriers like food insecurity and unemployment. We understand that healing takes more than therapy — it takes community.
We invite you to join us for the 2025 Annual Evening of Giving on December 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, as we celebrate the hope we’ve created and solemnly recognize the work still ahead. We are excited to welcome guest speaker Nate Hunt, Teacher and Head Baseball Coach at Mt. Vernon High School, as he shares his journey of coming to understand addiction through the loss of his brother — and the courage it takes to dismantle the stigma and create space for understanding.
This year, we are proud to honor Bill Mason for his lifelong dedication to LAPP. His service and impactful leadership have played a vital role in shaping the mission we carry forward today. We will also remember and celebrate the late Dave Klontz, whose service on the LAPP board reflected a deep belief in our work and a strong commitment to the well-being of our community.
Every ticket purchased, every bid made, every act of generosity directly fuels our mission to provide counseling, case management, and treatment for those who might otherwise go without. These are not just services — they are lifelines.
