Michael Alan presents Flãneur, his second solo exhibition of 2025—an evocative exploration of Newark city life and architecture through his lens.
Inspired by the 19th-century French term flâneur—one who strolls the city streets with no fixed destination, simply observing—the exhibition invites viewers to slow down, look closely, and appreciate the beauty hidden in plain sight.
Michael’s photography transforms Newark’s urban landscape into a vibrant canvas, capturing fleeting moments and architectural details often overlooked. His work reflects a deep passion for storytelling through imagery and a commitment to honoring the character of the city.
