A valós eseményeken alapuló film egy 1968-ban kibontakozó magyar–angol szerelem történetét meséli el. Tóth Miklós magyar egyetemista (Mészáros Martin) beleszeret az angol Alexandra Parmenterbe (Barta Ágnes). A történelem azonban közéjük áll. A történet két idősíkon bontakozik ki: a fiatalkori események mellett megismerjük a jelenben élő, 76 éves Tóth Miklós visszaemlékezéseit is.
A film nemcsak egy személyes történetet rekonstruál, hanem érzékenyen mutatja be a korszak politikai-társadalmi hátterét, érzelmi mélységeit.

Based on true events, the film tells the story of a Hungarian–British romance that blossomed in 1968.
Miklós Tóth, a Hungarian university student (played by Martin Mészáros), falls in love with the British Alexandra Parmenter (played by Ágnes Barta). But history stands in their way.
The story unfolds across two timelines: the youthful events of 1968 and the present-day reflections of the now 76-year-old Miklós Tóth.
The film not only reconstructs a personal love story but also sensitively portrays the political and social backdrop of the era, along with its emotional depth.
