Volunteer Call: Climate Mic Drop Summit

Tuesday, September 23, 2025 – SoHo, NYC

The climate story is often siloed and fractured. It’s time to change that.

During Climate Week NYC, the Climate Mic Drop Summit will bring together frontline organizers, Indigenous elders, storytellers, philanthropists, media makers, and innovators to weave new climate narratives rooted in justice, equity, and human connection.

This is an invite-only gathering—but we are opening the doors for a small group of volunteers to help us bring this vision to life.

• Be part of an intimate, invite-only climate summit.
• Connect and network with leaders across climate, social impact, and Indigenous rights.
• Gain hands-on experience in event production and climate storytelling spaces.
• Food and refreshments provided throughout the day.

• Assist with event setup.
• Manage the welcome desk and check in speakers/registrants.
• Welcome attendees, guide speakers to designated areas.
• Support Indigenous speakers with reserved seating, refreshments, and care.

• Manage the welcome desk for attendee check-in.
• Support speakers and panel transitions.
• Serve as timekeepers for panels.
• Take notes to contribute to post-event toolkits.
• Support social media coverage.

• Audio/Visual support (advancing slides, mic setup).
• General runner duties.
• Post-event breakdown of event space.

📅 Date: Tuesday, September 23, 2025
🕗 Shifts: Morning (8 AM – 2 PM) or Afternoon (12 PM – 6:30 PM)
