Welcome to the VGP In-Person Conference 2025 happening at The Rockefeller University, in New York City! Logistics:

Venue: The VGP Meeting will be held in the Biolink at The Rockefeller University, 1230 York Ave, New York, NY 10065. The main entrance is at 66th St and York Ave. Established in 1901, The Rockefeller University is the world's leading biomedical research university, drawing top scientists and graduate students from around the world in pursuit of one mission: to conduct science for the benefit of humanity. Poster Abstract Submission: If you would like to submit an abstract for a talk or a poster, please use the following guidelines. Submissions are due by Friday, August 15th (please use this google form). Decisions will be made by committee and notifications emailed by Friday, August 22nd.

Rules for Abstract Submission:

1. Report original research: at the time of abstract submission, the research must not have been previously published verbatim as a meeting abstract or article.

2. State the research objectives and rationale, summarize methods and results, and state the conclusions (300-word limit). Please specify which taxa and/or area of genomic research (e.g., sample prep, assembly, annotation, etc.) applies to your abstract.

3. Persons maybe first/presenting author on only one abstract.

4. One of the authors must present the work at the meeting.

5. Poster setup may begin at 8am on the designated day (Tuesday and Wednesday). You will be assigned a specific day for presenting your poster; if you anticipate that you will not be attending the entire meeting, please include that information in your submission for logistical planning.

Authors: Last, First: affiliations (include an email address for the corresponding author)

Introduction, Research Objectives/Rationale, Methods, Results, Conclusions

Taxa or area of genomic research

Whether this is for a poster or a talk
