Join WE Bike NYC for a Ukrainian Heritage Bike Ride!
Explore New York City’s rich Ukrainian history on this scenic and cultural ride. We'll pass by key landmarks like the Ukrainian Institute of America and continue down to Manhattan’s East Village—affectionately known as "Little Ukraine." Since the early 20th century, this neighborhood has been a hub of Ukrainian culture, home to long-standing institutions and businesses that still thrive today. Experience the vibrant legacy of the Ukrainian diaspora and enjoy a taste of traditional cuisine at the iconic Veselka restaurant.
The ride starts on the Upper East Side, and then we will head down 2nd Avenue to visit several locations in the East Village. Total ride distance is about 5 miles.
Please bring water and your helmet. (Helmets are required.)
This ride is Citi Bike friendly! If you don't have your own bike or your own Citi Bike membership we can provide a limited number of free Citi Bikes to use for the ride.
This is an all-gender ride.
Also check out other Food & Drink events in New York.
