Childhood Domestic Violence Association Open House
We invite you to join us on June 10th at 320 Park Avenue in New York City for an Open House hosted by the Childhood Domestic Violence Association.
This event is an opportunity to expand awareness around one of the least known, yet most impactful, adverse childhood experience - Childhood Domestic Violence (CDV). When you grow up witnessing domestic violence, that’s called childhood domestic violence.
We are honored to welcome Dr. Renee McDonald, Associate Dean at SMU and one of the most cited researchers in the space. Dr. McDonald will speak to the often-overlooked impact of growing up with domestic violence and why recognizing and naming the experience is a vital first step. As she shares, “Even a small change in perspective can transform a life.”
Whether you're new to this issue or are a committed supporter, this gathering offers a meaningful opportunity to connect, learn more, and explore potential collaborations to help scale the solutions needed to make a lasting impact.
