Special Northern Shaolin Event with Sifu Kisu in NYC
Join us for a unique opportunity in New York City with Sifu Kisu, a fifth-generation practitioner of the Northern Shaolin Kung Fu Association (NSKFA).
This event will offer a deep dive into rare Northern Shaolin form, exploring its foundational principles, theories, and practical applications, and the subtleties of the northern leg attack techniques. This prominent style of Chinese martial arts has a limited presence in the eastern United States, making this an especially valuable learning experience.
Our lineage in New York City was previously represented by Grandmaster Johnny So and his students, and we are honored to continue sharing this tradition.
The workshop will explore the concept of "owning your space," encompassing both physical presence and energetic awareness. Participants will be guided through foundational practices in sitting, standing, and stepping, understanding each as a pathway to enhanced awareness and presence. We will also utilize breathwork to cultivate internal energy and deepen the connection between self and space.
