🇳🇴🇺🇸 The American Scandinavian Society proudly announces that our President, Lars Nilsen will be the Grand Marshall of this year’s Norwegian American 17th of May Parade 🇳🇴🇺🇸

The 71st Parade will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, starting at 1:30 PM in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn NY. We will be commemorating the 211th Anniversary of the signing of Norway’s Constitution!

This year’s theme is “Celebrating Norwegian Immigration 1825-2025”. Congratulations to Lars!!!

🗓️ Sunday, May 18th 2025

📍 The parade will kick off at 1:30 pm, starting in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn NY at 85th Street and marching along 3rd Avenue, turning up 75th Street to 5th avenue to 67th Street.
