Challah Make & Bake: Knead, Braid, Take!
Join us for a warm and hands-on 2.5-hour challah making experience where you’ll make, bake, and take home your very own delicious loaf!
In this fun and interactive workshop, you’ll learn the art of traditional challah making from scratch—kneading the dough, mastering braiding techniques, and baking your loaf to golden perfection. Whether you're a first-time baker or a seasoned pro, this event offers something for everyone.

NY Cake Academy classes are held in our Manhattan flagship at 118 W 22nd St. All supplies and materials are included. If you require special accommodations, please contact . Classes are hands-on, interactive experiences.
Please dress accordingly. We recommend casual clothing you don’t mind getting a bit messy, and flat comfortable shoes. Open-toed shoes and sandals are not recommended for safety reasons. Long hair should be tied back.
Plan to arrive 10 minutes before class start time. Class will start promptly at the listed time.Important: Participants who arrive more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed to join the class and will forfeit their tuition. No refunds or rescheduling will be permitted.
NY Cake Academy classes are not eligible for refunds, however classes are transferrable.
All bookings receive a confirmation immediately after purchase. Please notify if you do not receive a confirmation email. Students are responsible for ensuring they receive and read their confirmation email.
If you would like to change a class date, email at least 48 hours in advance. Include the full name of the registered student, class confirmation number, and the class you wish to transfer into. If we do not receive notice and you do not attend, your payment is forfeited. We allow one courtesy makeup for a missed class; if you miss your makeup class, your tuition is forfeited.
If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other circumstances beyond our control (power outage, facility issues, etc.), we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a refund to your original form of payment.
If we decide to run the class and you choose not to attend, no refund will be issued, but you will receive a credit valid for 1 year toward a future class.
