Hibernation Hike

Explore the outdoors with the NYC Urban Park Rangers and discover where animals rest, nest, and hibernate when the weather turns cold.

Come hike through nature’s hidden world as the season of sleep begins. Discover where animals big and small prepare to rest through the cold months. From the tiniest insects burrowing beneath the leaves to larger creatures curling up in cozy dens! Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
