Get to know a few beloved herbs in new ways — connecting to their Western herbalism uses as well as traditional Chinese + Asian medicinal roots — with artist, writer and plant person Kimberly Chou Tsun An, including a guided tea meditation inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh’s teachings. Free mini bags of tea available to take home, grown as part of Kim’s Socrates Sculpture Park Artist Fellow cross-cultural medicinal garden, harvested and blended in community.
The Cha Cha Reading Room will be popping up at the Availble Works Book Fair at WSA from May 16-18 presented by Something Special Studios to exhibit a curated selection of books and goods created by members of the Cha Cha Community as well as an offering of 6 public programs related to bookmaking, tea, herbalism, and the TCM Apothecary!
