Join artist and independent curator Rachel Gisela Cohen for an engaging, hands-on floral design workshop tailored specifically for artists of all skill levels. In this immersive session, you'll create your own unique floral arrangements, which will then serve as the inspiration for 2D drawings and collages. This workshop offers a creative space where botanical design meets visual art, encouraging exploration, experimentation, and artistic play.
Basic drawing materials will be provided to help guide your creative process, but you are welcome to bring any specialized tools or materials you'd like to incorporate. The goal is to ignite your creativity and introduce new ways to blend floral design with your visual art practice, offering a fresh perspective and sparking innovative ideas.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only have your artwork to take home, but you’ll also leave with your custom floral arrangement, ready to enjoy. Whether you're an experienced artist or just beginning your creative journey, this workshop creates a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone to experiment and grow. Come join us for a day of flowers, inspiration, and artistic expression—we can’t wait to see what you’ll create! The session is designed to foster creative freedom and encourage you to explore new ways of approaching your craft.
Note: Please bring any specialized art materials you wish to utilize in your art project. This workshop is held on campus at the School of Visual Arts.
Exact location details are provided in your confirmation.
