DC Dumpster Dive for Communities Conference

This is the annual pre-conference dumpster dive, facilitated by the talented Peaches - we will leave late in the evening and dive for some hours then we will return to our big kitchen and sort the food and compost a bunch of it.

There will actually be two teams, if you dont want to jump into the dumpster, you can help with the very late night (typically after 2 AM) clean up and sorting of food that others bring in.

Usually we have a few cars and at least one bike crew which rescues food destine for land fills and instead sorts cleans and ultimately prepares food for folks who want it.
