Beginnings One: a Vocal Improv Workshop

Wingward is offering offering an open-level workshop introducing important concepts in our approach to vocal improvisation. We will explore the power of listening and attention, and the impact of treating vocal improv as an act of support. The workshop will consist of group singing exercises, paired singing exercises, shared group and paired reflection, and free improvisation in small ensembles.

This session will be limited to a total of 16 participants. If you need to cancel, please do so at your earliest convenience.

PLEASE NOTE: THE LOCATION OF THIS SESSION IS TBD. We will confirm a location closer to the event date, but it will be in lower Manhattan. When we have a location, we will update this page, and email all existing ticket holders to confirm.

This session will start promptly at 7:15. Out of care for session participants, late arrivals will not be permitted- no hard feelings, and we’ll look forward to singing with you soon
