And I’m Felling Good: Tribute to Nina Simone - sunset rooftop concert

Join MusicTalks for a special concert celebrating the life, activism, and music of the great Nina Simone. Renowned jazz vocalist Imani Rousselle is back by popular demand and joined by the MusicTalks Jazz Trio. Together, they will explore songs Nina Simone made famous, such as Feeling Good and Ain’t Got No, and will also highlight the groundbreaking contribution of Nina Simone to the civil rights movement using her art for activism. The performance will culminate with a tribute to the untold story of Simone's years-long collaboration with Carlebach, the singing rabbi during the 70s.
