We are pleased to feature two engaging presentations by members of our club, each offering a creative perspective on personal photography projects.
1. Photographic Zines: A Personal Project
Our first presentation will be a discussion led by Peter Eisenbock, focusing on the creation of photographic zines. Peter will explore how zines serve as a unique and personal way to showcase photographic work. This session will also include the initial
announcement of a club-wide Zine project, culminating in a member sharing event in the new year. Members interested in developing and presenting their own photographic zines are encouraged to participate in this exciting initiative.
2. Frozen Flower Photography: Dancing Petals
Following this, Judy Munz-Moore will share her innovative technique for capturing the ephemeral beauty of nature through frozen flower photography. Judy has been producing dreamy and captivating images using this method. During her presentation,
she will guide us through her process, including how she selects and prepares her floral subjects, the steps involved in freezing them, and the techniques she uses to photograph the results. This is a hands-on workshop, so please bring your cameras (DSLR and/or smartphone) and tripods.
