Cry Near A Lighthouse For Climate

Climate change is coming fast. The future is going to look very different for our children. Join us, near a lighthouse, for an afternoon of tears and lamentation for the climate.

We ask that you bring thoughts, pictures or mementos of the things you will miss in a climate ravaged future. This could be lost species, walks in unburned forests, or being outside on a sunny day. It could be drowned coastline, or your grandchildren's future.

We will honour our shared grief on a solastalgia board. Obviously, this is not a happy event but hopefully we'll be able to find something to celebrate, too, among the sadness. Like a wake for a liveable climate.

Feel free to dress in period costume for extra added picturesqueness, and do bring a very large hanky!
