Baggin’ At The Blast - Competitor Division

Welcome to Baggin’ At The Blast! Get ready for a fun-filled day at Bavarian Blast on Saturday, Jul 19, 2025. Registration/check-in is from 10:00-10:30am. Pool play begins at 11:00am. Players must register by 10:30am or risk losing their spot.

If you're looking for a little more competition and higher payouts, this is the tournament for you. The tournament will consist of three rounds of pool play, each round is one game. Your team will play three random teams and the games won or lost, and your points earned or given up, will determine which bracket your team is in for the tournament.

There are two brackets for the tournament once pool play is complete. Each bracket will consist of 32 teams. Tournament is double elimination. Payouts will be based on the total number of teams entered. The top six teams in each bracket will earn a share of the prize pool! Below is the payout schedule based on 64 teams:

Upper Bracket:

1st - $540

2nd - $480

3rd - $420

4th - $360

5th - $300

6th - $240

Lower Bracket:

1st - $180

2nd - $150

3rd - $120

4th - $90

5th - $60

6th - $30

There will be a total of 24 lanes available for play throughout the day. The estimated total time for the tournament is five hours. All bean bag boards, scoring towers, and bean bags will be provided. Any outside equipment, including bags, is not allowed.

Lastly, there is a $15 per person fee at the entrance gate for a Bavarian Blast wrist band. This is not associated with the bean bag tournament costs or payouts. This wrist band is required and allows you to enjoy the entire festival all day. Stick around after the tournament for a night of live music, great food, and of course, your favorite beverages.
