Thursday 7, 14, 21 & 28 - 10:00 AM - “CANAVERAL HISTORY 101” - Explore historical topics that shaped Canaveral National Seashore with a ranger at the Apollo Visitor Center. Topics vary. Meet at 7611 S. Atlantic Ave New Smyrna Bch FL 32169. (30-40 minutes)

1. Aug. 7th – The mounds of the Timucua at Canaveral

2. Aug. 14th – Elliott Plantation

3. Aug. 21st – Aviation history at Canaveral

4. Aug. 28th- Homesteading at Canaveral

PLEASE NOTE: all programs are subject to cancellation and/or rescheduling due to staff limitations, weather conditions, or other factors. Some programs require reservations, a minimum age, or a cost-recovery fee. Call 386-428-3384 for program information during operating hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). All programs meet the requirements for the Canaveral National Seashore Junior Ranger program.
