Bat Walk & Talk
Join conservationists Harm Deenen & Lorcán Scott at the John F Kennedy Arboretum for a guided bat walk for Bioblitz 2025. Our guides will lead you through the arboretum as we search for one of our most mysterious Irish mammals while learning about their behaviour and habitat. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to experience the magic of the night with our Bat Walk & Talk event! Free tickets but limited spaces available.

Meet at the visitor centre, across from the carpark.
Appropiate footwear & clothing essential. Hand torch advisable.
Accessibility: Trail surface; mostly compact stone with some short intervals of uneven terrian (grass/exposed tree roots).
