Lydd Talks - Guest Speaker: Michel La Rue - English Bells & Bell Ringing.

Every month (apart from July August and December) Lydd Town Museum organises a Talk with very special guest speakers.

This month we are delighted to welcome our very own committee member (and bell ringer!) Michel La Rue as our guest speaker.

Michel will be speaking to us on the subject of 'Bells and Bell Ringing in England'. Michel's talk will cover the development of the uniquely English practice of Change Ringing, with particular reference to the history of the bells of All Saints' Church, Lydd

Please note, we charge a small entry fee of £1 for members and £2 for non-members to cover the cost of the hall hire.

As well as being able to donate using cash, you can also donate via your mobile phones using PayPal or online card payment methods - there will be QR codes you can scan to donate to the museum / pay the entrance charge.

Refreshments will be served and all are welcome!
